Smile Brazil Trip With Pics!

Hi Guys,

I recently spent a month in the northeast of Brasil. I thought you might want to see some pics. I rented a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house right on the beach for about 500US. Not a steal but not bad either. I meet some great people, some nice girls and had a great time. I will post more about my trip later if anyone wants to hear about it.

View from house:

Here is a picture of the owner of Porto Rico, a great little restaurant and he and him family are great. There were many times after comsuming much Skol, he would order 4 lobsters (no charge). I paid for the beer, he took care of the lobsters (sweet deal if you ask me).

That beach looks like Recife Brazil, and Olinda to be exact. Am I right?

If you have more pics, we'd sure love to see them. :detective:

Question Re: Brazil Trip With Pics!

Big Tinto -

Why don't you take that long awaited trip you're putting off all these years to Brazil? That way we can read about your own personal experiences... And with all your experiences already in Colombia, living there and such...Brazil should be a piece of cake.

All the advice you need to visit 'O Brasil' is right here in the Brazil Forum.

So when are you leaving for O Brasil?

It's actually about 2hrs south of Recife and 2hrs north of Macieo. It a town called Maragogi, in the state of Algoas. It's really, really laid back. It might get a little boring if you want to party everynight, but its great for some R&R. The net says it has a population of 25k, but I would be surprised if it is half of that. From Recife to Macieo all the beaches are great! Tinto, I would have to agree with Ray, get your butt down to Brasil, you dont know what you are missing! I have been to Colombia a few times and the people are nice and the women are great, however when it was time to leave I was ready. When I am in Brasil, I am kicking and screaming not to get on the plane!

This girl was at the neighbors house, she came over for a few Skols and the next thing I know she is wanting meet to take some photos of her. I had to be a good gringo and oblige her

Here is a lot of land for sale, they had a few left. Its about 70meters from the water. The price was somewhere between 20,000-30,000 Reais. I was tempted to buy a plot, but just couldn't make up my mind.

Hey Ray, have you gotten a CPF number yet? I got one when I was down just in case I buy some land there. It took 2 days and cost 2 dollars and 50 cents! Does anyone want to plan a month trip to SA after the 1st of the year?

That trip to Brasil has been on the back burner for too long. I hope to go there in the not too distant future. The city that Meatsauce went to sounds like a nice little place and it is in the same area I would like to focus on.

If anyone has any miles they'd like to sell please let me know.
