I am now living in salvador bahia. Which is north of Rio. I think you will be in for quite a party! Literally millions of people partying, dancing and a lot more... have a great time, becareful and if you make it to salvador give me a shout.

I was thinking about going but now that I have waited this long there seems to be very few hotel rooms and the ones available are very expensive. Does anyone have suggestions on a place to stay at a reasonable rate.
