Default Currently in Salvador Bahia

Hey guys,

I am currently in Salvador Bahia. Thought I would drop a little note to tell you my thoughts. I have been here since April 27 and I leave June 7th. I don't think I have been here long enough to give you an adequate feel about the city but I will give you my 1st impressions. The city is a little too big for my taste and it is a little expensive even with the exchange rate. The beaches are ok, but I prefer Maceio or any of the beaches between Maceio and Recife. It didn't help that it rained almost everyday for the 1st two weeks I was here. Real Estate here is also expensive, I am not sure why. I will try to post some pictures for you guys in the next couple of days.

It is the place with lots of attractions. It is a city of contrasts. Local residents enjoy sharing their exotic dancing and music skills with tourists. This is the historic heart of the city and it has the largest collection of Baroque colonial architecture.
