It appears that LSN found a buyer or had seller's remorse as their site is back up and running. I received an email from them today with an offer that can be found on the following link:

http://www.latinsocialnetwork.com/becomeamember.asp

There was nothing said about why their site was for sale or if new owners purchased it but it is nice to see an alternative to LatinEuro make it.

Update: I logged into their site after making the above comments and would like to add that unlike LE, they provide detailed information (think city location of the woman) on a profile, making a better planned trip to Brazil and Colombia possible. I also think that they have a bug in their system because it only allows you to access the first page of profiles in each country listed.

An example of the information provided on one of the profiles:

Name: Astrid Johana Children: No
Birth Date: Profession: Student
Age: 25 Marital Status: Single
Height: 1.67m - (5.5') Other Language:
Weight: 50kg - (110 lbs) Religion: Catholic
Horoscope: City: Cali State: VAL

BIO:
cc110961 Astrid Johana 25, Student. I am a good girl, blah, blah...Contact me now! Postal Address Telephones E-mail Colombia

I received an "offer" for a former member, which I am not. It is a so-called free offer for 15 addresses. Things that make you go "hmmmmmmmmm"

Members of Gringos. "Upon further review" this offer states, "This special membership deal is real-no hidden charges- you simply purchase you new special Emerald Copa Club Membership* for only US 10bucks and we'll give you 15 of our Latin Ladies contact addresses absolutely free of charge- and instant savings of US39- No Strings attached."

Of course there's more, so "caveat emptor."

They make a statement on the site that they are not responsible for any email addresses that are undeliverable or unanswered. Also, if the phone number is not active. My guess is if you bought some contact info of desirable women, there is a good chance the emails would come back undeliverable. Something like a Sam Smith deal. I joined the basic membership and 8 out of 12 emails came back undeliverable. One girl wrote me back to tell me she is married and living in the U.S. She said they won't take her profile off the site.

At least the Latineuro guys will do a switcheroo and give you another email address if something comes back undeliverable. Is that bait and switch? Could be.

I haven't bought from Latineuro but, that's what I remember from the posts here. Let us know if this one works out and you actually get in contact with the women (a desirable woman you want). If it all "undeliverable" and defuct phone numbers, we would like to know that too. Hate to be pessimistic but, that is usually how these outfits operate. Could be wrong though. Let us know.

Tinto, lets buy the site! How much could it be worth? maybe we can set an example for other online dating agencies. Just a thought???

I think their website sucks, an updated site would get a much better response, looks like the sites from the 90's
