Cool

Hi Guys , well I will try to answer most of Your questions, first off I was engaged for about 8 months,at which time I pulled the plug ! many things lead to this but mostly the fact that after 8 months She Could not put together one complete sentence, not even - Hello Dan, I miss you , I Love you very much ! So there were no phone converstaions ! just email ! I asked Her on a regular basis to study Her English, that it was very very Important For Her to Learn some before comming Here , but She never did try at all , I bought Her books and a talking translator , some tapes etc. but they just collected dust !. She has 2 Boys , 13 and 17 years old, they also spoke no English at all ! I just got tired of no effort on Her part to show Me that She was willing to learn English ! thats about all there is to that story ! As far as giving up on (Colombia ) (this time I spelled it right ! ) well I just Decided to try something a little bit different , I like to see new places and always heard about Rio de Janiero so off I went ! several months before i left I found a Brazilian chat site, at which I meet a few Girls that interested Me so I made plans to meet 3 of them , 2 in Sao Paulo , and 1 in Rio , well I met lots of Beautiful Women in some very strange ways ! 1 Lady I met really is a very nice sweet lady ! and I want to see what happens with Her as far as a relationship goes. thats about it, if theres any questions you have just fire away and I will try to answer them best I can ! desertdan

Good decision. With 3 spanish speakers in one house, you can forget about anyone speaking English! I turned down a spectacular beauty in Kherson Ukraine for the same reason. Communication is really important in a relationship.

I've alwys wanted to go to Brazil, but my friend Rick tells me too many mullatos there. Were the girls white Hispanic ?

Ray, I rescheduled my Cali flight, will be going Thursday.

Question

salbert, I've never seen anything like it. Now the Brazilian women might not be fine enough? Are you sure you're searching in the right hemisphere?

Cool

Hey Guys, a quick take from my point of view about Brazil-Brazilian Women , First off anyone that thinks there aren't Women of every Color shape and size in Brazil is really closed minded . I saw a much much greater Mixture of Women there then in Colombia ! In Brazil there are Cities with very large Japaneses populations ! as a matter of fact Brazil has the largest Japaneses population outside of japan ! Remember this Country Speaks Portuguese ! So there are many many White appearing people there ! Italians , and Portuguese are plentiful ! I would say they have many more Women with exotic looks because of the fact they have a larger Genitic pool that they are pulling from ! this is not a latin American Country per Say ! yes there are Latin or Hispanic but also many Germans have settled there ! Brazil is so much more Diverese then Colombia. I saw people with Skin and Hair colors I never have seen before ! Many Many Beautiful women that were mixtures of Black and Portuguese or Portuguese and Itilain or Italian and German , or German and Japanese ! There are many people there that dress as does an average American ! they could walk the streets here and no one would give them a second look unless they started talking in Portuguese ! Now The Language ! for Me much Much harder to understand and read ! I stayed most of My time in Copacabana Beach ! If You Go , Don't stay there ! spend the extra Money and Go to Ipanema , its just a few blocks away and much cleaner and safer ! By the way Copacaban is no place to party !(besides Club Help ! ) all the bars and restuarants have very very little live music because there are appartment directly above them and can't make noise ! it isn't avenda Sexta ! I went to Sao Paulo for a side trip , holly **** ! theres like 30 million people that live there and they are all in appartments or Flavala's (slums) I have never seen so many Hi-rise Buildings in My life ! take all of them in New York , chicago, LA, and a few more big Cities here put them all together and You might have as many as there ! Not for Me ! . If you want nice Beach's and more relaxed atmosphere then go North east to Bahia or fortalez or Natal , much more clean and safe ! If theres any questions I would be glad to answer them, But its a longer flight then Colombia and theres no Agencys, so Your on Your own ! I did very well but Luck had a lot to do with that ! . Thanks for your attention ! desertdan

How close to Rio are the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana?

------------

Also, after the war (WW2), lots of Germans escaped to Brazil. No doubt this is one of the reasons why there is such a large German community there to this day.
