Well, you cant drive her up from Brazil and I dont care if you have a Range Rover or a Humvee, it simply cant be done. Besides, the price of petrol is going to kill ya!

I would do it by boat. It usually takes about 10 days. Make sure you stock plenty of food and water along with a pillow and plenty of reading materials for her.

Now you see where I'm going with this right?!

Actually no I don't..What was your point? To my understanding this is a board to offer constructive advice and useful info. So how did you assist in that capacity???

By being a sarcastic asshole!

This question has been asked so many frickin times...just browse through the archives. SINCE you asked a question, here goes...if you go to a foreign country and meet the woman of your dreams you have one of only two choices. You will either file for a K1 Fiancee visa and wait for her to arrive to the US, then you will determine if you can live together, but you must get married before 90 days or if you cant wait and want to jump the gun, you can marry her in her native country and file for a spousal visa. You should contact Gary Bala and he can advise you which process would be easier for you to bring your Brasileña here.

Oh, BTW if you decide to marry there, I would suggest you hire a Brazilian Attorney to dot the i's and cross the t's...there is one running around here somewhere.

Ya.

More or less 6-8 months depending on where you file. Do it yourself or hire an immigration attorney.

No prob...I am a 37yo African-American.I work in the pharmaceutical industry as Project Mgr. After hearing phenomenal stories for years I was fortunate enough to take my first trip to Brazil this past January at which time I stayed 10 days. I have always had an eye for exotic looking women and as you all can imagine Brazil more than filled the bill. I had the most incredible time.I regretted coming back as I am sure many do. I am going again in about month for another 10days. This time I plan not to do the tourist trap.

I have always planned to live abroad once my working days were over but this only solidified it for me....My question to the board was not imply that I actually had someone I wish to bring back here but rather what all I would have to endure if I chose the option rather than move there (which I am leaning toward considering my money would go a lot further).

For those that have made that from the states to either Brazil or Colombia...what do you miss the most, if anything at all, living abroad??

Thanx
