"Speaking of which and getting a little off topic, where did our evangelest go?"

Ray rightfully deleted last weeks sermon. You want me to give y'all this weeks?

We now have enough true life characters posting on the Board that SantaTonk might have Christmas cheers again this year.

Tonk, does that mean besides the Christmas cheers that you might also change your profile photo? May I suggest one that has a little movement to it, like this one:

www.ebaumsworld.com/meatstretch.html

BTW, is that how baby Tonk got so well endowed?

Just think what kind of response you'd get at Wal-Mart with those fine ladies with that kind of a come-hither look!

I've often thought of bringing that little tyke back as my avatar. The Board crashed, things change, and BabyTonk grew up into the cheerful, smiling, warm as a puppy PappyTonk.

Hmmmmmm, maybe it's time to show the Gringos where the "hither look" really comes from.

BabyTonk is a natural I can assure you. I was a mere 15 months old when my ma snapped that famous shot. Little did she know the cheer that would bring to the chicas of Latin America, and it wasn't even Christmas.

Tonk, I think you should use both. That way all the new members can see where that special gift can lead one's life.

Not normalizing relations with Cuba years ago is on the list of biggest mistakes our government has made in our era. Had we moved to normalize relations with Cuba years ago, it is likely Fidel would have retired a short time later. I hope Raul's conditions for normalizing relations with their northern giant, establishes a precedent that they will maintain a safe distance from the U.S. government. Washington does not exactly have the interests of Latin America in mind when it deals with governments and people from that region. Our history of intervention, both overt and covert, is ugly at best.

We are begining to make the same mistake with Venezuela and their popularly elected president. Hugo Chavez seems to be taking over Fidel Castro's spot as the man we're told to hate the most in L.Am. The more our government tries to marginalize him, the more he's going to find his friends elsewhere; and he's not looking in very nice places. When it comes to L.Am., our government tends to act as an arrogant bully doing exactly what it pleases without any concern for the consequences suffered by the people.

Yeah, when Fidel Castro goes, it will be the end of an era, but all things considered, he was a damn sight better for the poor in Cuba than Batista.

LA,
I like you man...I totally agree with your statement and think that if LAM was considered in an other way by USA then il would be a big progress in relations between countries...And I`m convince if this was made with FIDEL, then my people wouldn`t have to suffer like that or even think to get out of the country...Guys you have at least once to visit my country, you`ll be amazed..

How about lifting the embargo, simply because we look awfully foolish holding onto it in the first place?

You need to use someone other than Michael Moore for your source.

Hello gents,
it's been awhile I haven't posted in here! I came back from a week in Santa Clara Cuba also known as El Che's city because of him being the liberator of the city against Batista's troops; I had a wonderfull time and even being from Cuba it was my first time in this city, very clean, not much of tourists, and people are just wonderfull compared to La havana. Anyways it was during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the victory of PLAYA GIRON and also the big congress of the party (don't know if it's written properly though jejeje )
Anyways there is few news and laws still in the process of opening more Cuba to the world and normalizing relationship, it was talked about softening the possibility for foreigners to buy houses and being owner in Cuba. Any takers on that discussion??
