SM,
I don't recommend the beaches in LA HAVANA because it's dirty but going more in the land like in Santiago, Varadero, Santa clara, Pinar del rio Isla de la juventud, CIENFUEGOS , yes you will enjoy the beach
Why don't we plan a trip (all of you who are interested to CUBA? That would be fun)

CUBA

Great report Cuba! I wish more of our members would post their experiences there, or um...the experiences of their "friends" who've been there.

Nice pics too. I somehow get the gut feeling that the dude you messed up in the DR got the short end of the stick

That was a really fascinating report Cuba and the pictures were great too. Thanks for putting the effort in showing us a part of the world we don't get to know about too much.

Hola Cubanito!

Man, that is one hell of a trip report. The pictures were phenomenal, and brought back a few memories, and actually let me see a few places in the daylight jajajaja!!! What kind of camera did you use? Some of those pictures are Conde Nast worthy! Mi favorito es La vieja fumando un cigaro en la calle. Una viejita sentando y reindo al todo mundo!

Thanks Hermano! I'm glad I had the chance to catch up with some of your travels...

EC hermano,
I'm glad you enjoyed my trip report. The camera was bought on e-bay from Hong-kong and pretty cheap but damned it's giving nice pictures; I was surprised too.

How Can Americans Go Over To Cuba Without Getting Into Any Trouble With U.s. Officials?

Go through another country, like DR and upon arrival in Cuba tell immigration
NOT to stamp your passport. They do this all the time since they know Americans have issues. Then on route back to the USA... keep your mouth SHUT as to your travels to Cuba.
