Default Chavez Sends Tanks To Colombian Border

The BBC web site is reporting that Hugo Chavez has sent 10 Battalions of troops, including tanks, to the Colombian border. He is threating WAR with Colombia if any incursion into Venezulan territory , in pursuit of FARC.

He is also calling the death of Reyes a " cowardly murder " and calling Reyes a "good revolutionary".

Colombia does not really have an army, so I would think we will need to send an aircraft carrier down there to ease Colombia's worries.

What a Dick head, Chavez is still craving attention, I think in the end he could get more than he can stand.

Sounds like insanity. Right now there is a lengthy legal battle in Peru regarding the former president Fujimora. One of the issues is how he handled the rebels there. It seems he went in full force and wiped em out. The accusation is many innocent folks died in the process. I guess there is no easy solution but, the end result is there are no "rebels in the jungle." At least in Peru.

Well, I an see why the Colombian government wanted to got the rebels but how they did it is leading to a big confrontation with 2 neighbors and effecting currency. This could overflow into something really bigger than we may think now.

I would like to here President Uribe's response to his neighbor's reaction. I hope they can understand the Colombia's ordeal with the FARC and stop giving them safe passage. This can be handled with Diplomacy but I'm kind of thinking there's going be some more bloodshed.
Can you imagine an air strike 1.8 k into your neighbor's back yard.

What can you expect from a self admited drug user? I predict he will burn out soon.

It is easy to manipulate poor uneducated people, but when their bellys and those of their children are empty....Well, nobody that has one eye and half sence is going to tollerate that for long...

He loves attention, just like his Terriosts friends do.
