Angry George Soros: Pushing Dope in the Americas

*****'s Godfather Strikes Again: Pushes Dope in the Americas

August 16, 2008 (LPAC)--****** *****'s Godfather George Soros has added to his holdings in Brazil in recent months, purchasing one Brazilian ex-President, along with major stock positions in the oil and mineral giants Petrobras and Vale.

Former Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1995-2003), backed by Soros's money and key players in Soros's international drug-legalization apparatus, has organized a "Latin American Drug and Democracy Commission" to campaign for Soros's drug legalization. The 18-member commission, founded last April 30 in Rio de Janeiro, argues that controlling production of drugs has failed; combating drugs is too expensive, anyway; so society should give up the idea of getting rid of narcotics, and opt for "harm reduction" measures and "decriminalization." The new commission, in short, is a new instrument for Britain's Opium War on the Americas.

With Cardoso, Soros purchased two other former Presidents to co-chair this Latin American Drug and Democracy commission with him: Colombia's Cesar Gaviria (1990-94), infamous for having knowingly permitted the drug mafia to control a Constituent Assembly which rewrote the Constitution during his term; and Mexico's Ernesto Zedillo (1994-2000).

Leading funders of the new commission are Soros's Open Society Institute, the Fernando Henrique Cardoso Institute, and the Soros-funded Viva Rio NGO.

Guiding the commission is Amsterdam's Soros-funded Transnational Institute, otherwise active in the British government-linked project to legalize the opium trade in Afghanistan. The Transnational Institute, with Soros's Open Society Institute, ran the Coca 90's project which organized the coca-growers in the Andes region of South America as a battering ram for legalization. Another key agent in that Coca 90's project, Peru's Diego Garcia-Sayan, also Soros-financed, is a member of the commission.

Among the other members of the commission are such well-known British agents as Brazil's Joao Roberto Marinho, the former head of Prince Philip's genocidal Worldwide Fund for Nature in Brazil, and Peru's perverse liberal, Mario Vargas Llosa, whose 1990 presidential campaign was run by Soros's compadre, Lord Mark Malloch Brown, today U.K. Minister for Africa, Asia and the United Nations, and reportedly a leading British conduit with Barack Obama.

Transnational Institute's Martin Jelsma told the founding meeting of this new commission that "there is not going to be a world rid of drugs." Their job is to get a turn internationally, away from the "U.S. approach" of a war on drugs, to the "European approach," of harm reduction, for the upcoming 10 year assessment of the United Nations General Assembly Special Assembly (UNGASS) on drugs. The Commission is to meet again in September in Bogota, and again in February 2009, in Mexico City.

I find it interesting, though not surprising, that any act done, CAN be made to look….well... misguided, wrong or illegal.

As they say “Perception is Reality!” The recipe is quite simple. Add a few pejorative terms or labels such as ‘godfather’, ‘apparatus’, ‘infamous’, ‘key agent’, ‘perverse liberal’, ‘apparatus’, ‘a new instrument’, ‘conduit’ and the like.

Sprinkle in a few vague and unsubstantiated references such as, ‘Britain’s Opium war on the Americas’, ‘British government linked project to legalize the opium trade in Afghanistan’, ‘well-know British agents as Brazil’s….’ and last but not least ‘Prince Philip's genocidal Worldwide Fund for Nature in Brazil’, and you have a wonderful ‘hatchet job’ stew.

Angry Re: George Soros: Pushing Dope in the Americas

Stop Soros and the British Project To Legalize Drugs!

Following is a statement released by Maximiliano Londono, President of the LaRouche Association of Colombia, on September 2, 2008.

On September 3, the second conference of the Latin American Commission on Drugs and Democracy, whose fundamental purpose is to create the conditions for legalizing illegal drugs worldwide, will be held in Bogota, Colombia. This Commission has been financed by George Soros, mega-speculator and economic hitman for the British Empire.

The activities of this Commission represent a national security threat, a danger to world peace and, in particular, a crime against the youth of every nation of the world. Governments should shut down the activities of this Soros group; the same Soros who not only promotes drug consumption, but who also seeks to provoke a war between Russia and the United States, a war which, once started, would obviously end in thermonuclear world war. Soros operates in the terrain of international financial speculation like the pirates of Sir Walter Raleigh and Francis Drake, at the service of her Gracious British Majesty.

To understand who George Soros really is, one must remember that at age fourteen, this Terminator became a Hitlerian activist and fully enjoyed the role, and he didn't even blush over the fact that he did this, coming from a Jewish family. Soros' father left him under the guardianship of an official of the Nazi occupation government who was in charge of seizing the goods, and even the gold dentures, of the Jews who were going to be murdered. For nearly two years, the young Soros, as he himself has told the news media (for example, WNET TV on April 15, 1993), enjoyed this experience which forged his character, More than a half million Hungarian Jews were murdered by the Nazis.

Governments everywhere should ban the activities of this ominous Commision, which represents a crime against humanity. To impose drug legalization in the United States, and therefore in the rest of the world, Soros has decided to make Colombia, Mexico and Afghanistan, in particular, into bloody examples that will serve to prove to the nations of the planet the supposed uselessness of fighting illegal drugs. The military and political victories of the Alvaro Uribe government in Colombia against FARC narcoterrorism, and the optimism unleashed in the country and in the region by these actions, have put Colombia in the crosshairs of the drug legalization lobbyists, who fear that their whole blackmail strategy could fall apart if it is proven that it is possible to defeat the drug trade and terrorism.

The conferences of Soros' Latin American Commission on Drugs and Democracy intend to pave the way for the 10 Year Evaluation of the UN General Assembly on Drugs, to be held in March 2009, to adopt the European focus (legalization, decriminalization, provision of drugs and syringes to addicts, etc.) It is no coincidence that the next meeting of the Soros commission will be held in Mexico City, in February of 2009. In parallel, the Transnational Institute of Amsterdam, also financed by Soros, is actively promoting the legalization of opium in Afghanistan. 18 drug legalization "gurus," led by the trio of treasonous expresidents Cesar Gaviria of Colombia, Fernando Henrique Cardoso of Brazil and Ernesto Zedillo of Mexco, are heading this Soros commission, which is joining its efforts to those of the global web of foundations and NGOs of Soros and other British assets, whose purpose is to make recreational drugs available to the whole world, by legalizing its consumption and cheapening its cost. The dream of the Anglo-Dutch oligarchy is that there be a world of mental cretins, drug addicts and the drugged, easily controlled by a tiny group of would-be masters of humanity, the Brave New World of Aldous Huxley, Orwell's "1984" and H.G. Wells' "The Fate of Man."

The decriminalization of drugs and their eventual legalization is presented as the panacea to reduce violence and crime associated with the illegal nature of the drug trade. It is also argued that poor drug addicts, already scorned and persecuted, find themselves exposed to serious additional health risks because of contaminated needles. Why not provide them with their dose of drugs, places where they could consume them, and syringes and all the other necessary instruments for their pleasureable activity? With this seductive language, the dug legalizers hope to recruit to their ranks the generations which have been exposed to the drug counter-culture, sexual perversions and religious cults which found fertile ground starting in the mid-1960s with the so-called Aquarius or New Age revolution.

Just as U.S. economist and statesman Lyndon H. LaRouche has described in detail, that generation of the '68ers (Baby Boomers), who used every orifice of their bodies for the most improbable and obscene purposes, today make up a large percentage of the managers, executives and presidents of nations. This embrace of British libertarianism and the thesis of the Open Society of Karl Popper (the beloved mentor of George Soros), has led the world into the worst crsis of economic and financial disintegrations, and to the threat of a new world war, this time a thermonuclear one. Soros has financed and made into celebrities such war provocateurs as current Georgian President Mijáil Saakashvili, as well as Barack Obama in the United States.

The blows that have been dealt the FARC, especially, have raised the potential for making the regional agenda into one of cooperation among nations, to make possible the construction of large infrastructure projects such as the Colombo-Venezuelan railroad, proposed by President Hugo Chavez and accepted by Uribe; as well as the possible opening up of the Colombo-Venezuelan plains for the mass production of food. Also discussed with President Luis Inacio Lula Da Silva has been the promotion of water corridors that will serve as means of transportation through the Amazon and Putumayo river systems, with the view to seeking a Pacific Ocean outlet for Brazil.

But Soros and the British financial oligarchy that runs him have a different plan. Colombia, which has paid a brutal price in blood due to the activities of the drug cartels, is supposed to serve as an example, to demonstrate the apparent futility of fighting the drug trade. This was the very message which Ernesto Samper presented to the world, when he organized the conference "Marijuana, Myth and Reality" a few decades ago, while he was serving as president of Colombia's National Association of Financial Institutions (ANIF). Samper told an audience of 700 legalizers from around the globe, who were meeting in the Hilton Hotel in Bogota: if Colombia does not legalize druge, starting with marijuana, the country will find itself dragged through a wave of terrorism that will destroy all the national institutions, until it finally accepts drug legalization. This is the same British drug legalizaton project that the late President Alfonso Lopez Michelsen and Enrique Santos Calderon (member of the Soros commission and director of the newspaper El Tiempo) have promoted, on the pretext of bringing "peace" to Colombia and the world.

It's time that Colombia and the rest of the world say "no" to Soros, "no" to the drug trade, and "no" to the dying international financial system which promotes them, and which is in its violent death throes.

Hm... Aside from the vitriolic rhetoric... If you decriminalize drugs, it removes a huge part of the profit motive. The reason drugs cost so much is not production costs, but the fact that they have to be smuggled and transferred at the risk of severe penalties. Someone on another board recently posted about purchasing a small amount of something in Bogota, at what was probably less that 5% of what it would have cost in the U.S. for much lower purity. If drugs could be purchased legally, controlled and taxed, there wouldn't be all the violence and obscene profits. And there would be a tremendous savings in police, courts and prisons. Sounds logical to me, not withstanding I pursue a healthy, clean lifestyle.

Soros' `Ex-Presidents' Cartel' Promotes Drugs

BOGOTA, Sept. 3 (EIRNS)—The second meeting of the Latin American Commission on Drugs and Democracy run by George Soros's "ex-Presidents cartel" of Brazil's Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Colombia's Cesar Gaviria, and Mexico's Ernesto Zedillo, opened here today with none other than Soros's personal drug legalization hitman, Ethan Nadelmann, personally on hand to run the show.

Nadelmann, today Executive Director of the Drug Policy Alliance, the leading drug legalization organization in the United States, has run Soros's international war for legalization full-time since 1994, when he set up the Open Society Institute's drug-pushing unit, the Lindesmith Center, for Soros. Nadelmann argues flatly that people should use all kinds of narcotics, including those which are highly addictive, "in a recreational fashion without severe consequences," if they so chose.

The 18-member commission held its first meeting in Rio de Janeiro in April 2008, with financing from Soros's Open Society Institute, and participation by by several other Soros legalization activists, parading as "experts." The Commission's stated mission is to draft a paper to be submitted to the March 2009 global strategy meeting of the U.N.'s Commission on Narcotic Drugs, which they state from the outset will oppose "U.S. repressive strategies" against drugs, in favor of "the European model" of decriminalization. This, Soros's commission asserts, represent a "unified Latin American position."

In their press conference opening the two day, closed door confab, former Presidents Gaviria and Cardoso, joined by Commission member Sergio Ramirez, former Vice President of Nicaragua, tried to paint the commission as merely driven by a concern for the rule of law and human rights. Others were more blunt. El Tiempo, Colombia's leading newspaper, run by Liberal Party interests associated with Gaviria, let the cat out of the bag with an editorial today welcoming the commission as an effort to end "repressive strategies" against production as well as and consumption of illegal drugs.

The presence of LaRouche organizers at the opening press conference threw the commissioners into panic. Although only pre-arranged questions were permitted, the LaRouche activists distributed copies of its statement exposing the genocidal, dope-driven purpose of this commission founded and funded by the Nazi-trained Soros (See "Stop Soros and the British Project to Legalize Drugs!") to commission members, handful of invited guests, and the largely-pro-legalization journalists present. In short order, the organizers were ordered to stop distributing any documents not authorized by the commission, stripped of their press credential, and goons escorted the president of the Lyndon LaRouche Association of Colombia, Max Londono, out the door of the hotel itself.

Default Re: George Soros: Pushing Dope in the Americas

I firmly believe ‘is there is not enough passion in the world’. Seems no one is committed to anything. Or if so, the commitment or passion lasts only a short time. However, passion like all good things can be misdirected and even misused. So it is with regret that I offer the following on Lyndon LaRouche.

Took the advice and went to his web site as well as others. This is a months’ research ‘boiled down’ and ’for reflection’….sat on. This is not meant to specifically hurt or be mean to anyone.

FACT: LaRouche was convicted of mail fraud in 1989, resulting in 15-year prison sentence of which he served 5 years.

However it appears his whole life has been about self promotion and of course being persecuted . So what does he say about himself? His web site biography is an interesting read http://www.larouchepub.com/resume.html
Where it touts “His most significant professional achievement has been a 1948-1952 research project resulting in the discovery of what became known later as the ``LaRouche-Riemann method'' in economics. In 1994 he was elected a member of the Universal Ecological Academy of Moscow, on the basis of this work.” He attended attended Northeastern University in Boston and latter dropped out. No group, outside of the communist sphere, has seen fit to take the ‘method’ seriously. Could find no references to ‘peer’ reviews of the ‘method’ in the normal economic circles.
The bio also states that “During approximately a twelve-month period, February 1982-February 1983, he was engaged in private exploratory talks with the Soviet government concerning a proposal which President Ronald Reagan adopted and presented, on March 23, 1983, as a ``Strategic Defense Initiative.'' First, although ‘private’ also ‘implies’ Administration backing. No one in the Reagan Administration has every supported this assertion. In fact, a number of them dispute he had anything to do with ‘Star wars’.

Other sources have written about LaRouche’s Trotskyist views and his membership in the US Communist Party. I met Lyndon LaRouche Jr. when we were both members of the Socialist Workers Party (SWP), the main Trotskyist group in the U.S. and about as far left as you could be in those days.I was an SWP member from 1957 until 1964, and so was LaRouche. At that time he went by his party name, Lyn Marcus. He told me that he had visited India as a soldier at the end of World War II and the revolutionary ferment he had witnessed there convinced him to become a radical. After a short period around the Communist Party, he joined the Trotskyists in Boston.”Tim Wohlforth http://www.publiceye.org/larouche/Wohlforth.html

In an article entitled “Who is Lyndon LaRouche, for the Portland State University Vanguard/May 13, 2004 reported “….many dismiss LaRouche as nothing more than an eccentric conspiracy theororist, and some critics believe that he and his followers are in a political cult promoting fascist and anti-Semitic ideology. “
“With his far-reaching theories (he once claimed that the queen of England was a drug-pusher and the Beatles "were a product shaped according to British Psychological Warfare Division specifications") and doomsday predictions, Larouche has established himself as one of the most controversial figures in American politics.“ http://www.rickross.com/reference/larouche/larouche34.html

A perennial Presidential candidate, LaRouche launched his first run in 1976 and last in 2008. One of his attempts was from inside a Federal prison in Minnesota. Note: His ‘cell’ mate was Reverend Jim Baker former televangelist. Somewhat ironic, convicted felons cannot vote in Federal Elections so LaRouche could not vote for himself.

“There were two federal trials, one in Boston, Massachusetts and one in Alexandria, Virginia, and several state trials; although there were some differences in the specific charges, the trials centered upon the charge that LaRouche and his associates conspired to solicit loans from their supporters, on behalf of organizations they controlled, without intending to repay those loans. Fourteen states placed injunctions on LaRouche Related organizations.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaRouche_conspiracy_trials Some investigations led to convictions for mail fraud, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and tax evasion. LaRouche himself was convicted in the case United States of America v. Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. et al. Five of his associates were found guilty also. In addition to LaRouche, who was found guilty on 11 mail fraud counts, his chief fund-raiser, William Wertz, was convicted on 10 mail fraud counts; his legal adviser, Edward Spannaus, on nine counts; fund-raisers Michael Billington and Dennis Small, on three counts, and Paul Greenberg and Joyce Rubinstein, on two counts. All were found guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/longterm/cult/larouche/larou6.htm

From Wikpida “Some of the investigations were prompted by a 1983 request to the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board by former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger that raised the question of whether LaRouche's activities might be funded by foreign intelligence agencies.” (color added)

“The jury's findings, reached after a little more than 11 hours of deliberation…”
“He was also convicted of conspiring to hide his personal income since 1979, the last year he filed a federal tax return.”
Horton, of Lakeridge, Va., said the jury "all agreed {LaRouche} was not on trial for his political beliefs. We did not convict him for that. He was convicted for those 13 counts he was on trial for."http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/longterm/cult/larouche/larou6.htm

I was going to list some of his more outlandish conspiracy theories, but feel that enough has been posted on the site already. I will just leave it to the following quote.
“LaRouche had a gargantuan ego. Convinced he was a genius, he combined his strong conviction in his own abilities with an arrogance expressed in the cadences of upper-class New England. He assumed that the comment in the Communist Manifesto that "a small section of the ruling class cuts itself adrift, and joins the revolutionary class..." was written specifically for him. And he believed that the working class was lucky to obtain his services.
LaRouche possessed a marvelous ability to place any world happening in a larger context, which seemed to give the event additional meaning. but his thinking was schematic, lacking factual detail and depth. It was contradictory. His explanations were a bit too pat, and his mind worked so quickly that I always suspected his bravado covered over superficiality. He had an answer for everything. Sessions with him reminded me of a parlor game: present a problem, no matter how petty, and without so much as blinking his eye, LaRouche would dream up the solution. “ http://www.publiceye.org/larouche/Wohlforth.html (color added)

As far as Soros' Nazi connections, he would be in company with Kurt Waldheim, former Secretary General of the United Nations.

Hey Jib,

I found a few things someone interested in knowing the truth may find interesting; you can read more at www.larouchepub.com or watch the film now featured at www.larouchepac.com "The Lost Chance of 1989", which describes LaRouche's role in the SDI initiiative with the Soviet Union among other things.

Here's some info on the Railroading of LaRouche and Associates and the sham felony conviction you refer to:

1. Has Your Neighbor Been Brainwashed
About Lyndon LaRouche?

If you are one of the tens of thousands of Americans who understand the fact that the legal proceedings against Lyndon LaRouche and his associates were the result of one of the most corrupt judicial frameups in U.S. history, you have probably had the following experience. You have given a friend, or neighbor, a copy of the ``Summary of Relevant Evidence Demonstrating the Innocence of Lyndon LaRouche and Co-Defendants,'' a pamphlet put out by LaRouche's 1996 presidential election campaign in the millions of copies, or brought up LaRouche's views on the economic crisis, or other political developments, in a political discussion. In response, you've gotten a reaction of the following sort: ``Don't talk to me about LaRouche; he's a crook.''

You may have been immediately intimidated, but many of you have not. Instead, you've answered your friend or neighbor: ``No, LaRouche and his associates were the targets of a secret government witchhunt, put together by Henry Kissinger, Ollie North, and George Bush.''

``Oh, no,'' says your neighbor. ``You don't believe that, do you? He was convicted of a crime. I know. I read it in the press and saw it on TV.''

You may have replied: ``Do you know anything about LaRouche directly, or his writings?''

``I don't have to,'' your neighbor might say. ``I rely on the new media.''

That seals the case. What you are dealing with in this situation, is a victim of mass-brainwashing by the U.S. media, an individual who has taken his ``opinion'' from a mass media which, itself, participated in the deliberate campaign of defamation against LaRouche and his associates. Someone who retails such opinions about LaRouche, is probably stupid enough to have money in the stock market as well.

Millions of Americans have been the victims of what amounts to a brainwashing campaign against LaRouche, carried out between 1984 and 1988, in the USA and internationally, with more intensity, duration, and scope, than against any personality not a major figure of government. As a result, even still today, there are millions of U.S. citizens who have been so thoroughly brainwashed by a mass-media campaign coordinated through Henry Kissinger, George Bush, et al., that those duped persons react with knee-jerk outbrusts of baseless, irrational rage, at the mere mention of the name ``LaRouche.''

It's past time this brainwashing was broken. Not only do 5 LaRouche associates sit in prison in the Commonwealth of Virginia, despite their innocence, after years of incarceration. But also LaRouche himself remains under the cloud of his conviction, at a time when his ideas of economic development and social justice are urgently needed, to prevent the ongoing financial disintegration and impending blowout from leading to a collapse of civilization into a New Dark Age. Destruction by defamation

When the first phases of the attack on Lyndon LaRouche and his organization began, there is no question but that certain Establishment figures wished to see him dead. As early as 1973, the FBI was collaborating with its agents in the Communist Party-USA in discussion of ``eliminating'' LaRouche. When the para-military raid against the offices of publishing companies associated with LaRouche occurred in 1986, there was clearly a live option to stage a shoot-out in which LaRouche would end up dead. There are other instances as well, of assassination attempts.

Eventually, however, the chosen method to destroy LaRouche and his movement was by prosecution and defamation. The defamation itself was critical to the success of the legal cases. And in the wake of the prosecutions, the process of defamation is even easier.

As is documented in the sections of this pamphlet devoted to the Train salon, there was nothing accidental about the rash of negative propaganda which was circulated about LaRouche in the 1983 to 1988 period. While the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL), the New York Times, and the drug mob-linked High Times and Our Town had launched their own attacks on LaRouche prior to 1983, these had not dimmed his influence. After all, the headline of the High Times article, by pot-head Dennis King, was ``They want to take your drugs away,'' a blatant appeal to the drug-using minority of the U.S. population at that point.

But in 1983, the Secret Government apparatus which Ronald Reagan had set up through Executive Order 12333, in December 1981, and which was headed by George Bush, took a more top-down approach. They pulled together a meeting of representatives of nearly every major news outlet, along with others, to coordinate a ``public diplomacy'' campaign against LaRouche. As a result of this conspiracy, the most popular media outlets came to feature lies and slanders against LaRouche. These included Readers Digest, NBC-TV, and the Wall Street Journal.

In addition, after two associates of LaRouche won the Democratic Party primary in Illinois in March 1986, a new wave of defamation took off. This wave was characterized by the input of the ADL, itself a close ally of dirty factions in the intelligence community, and the ADL's report on LaRouche as a ``political extremist.'' From that time forward, in virtually every news wire and news report--thousands and thousands--the name Lyndon LaRouche virtually never appeared without the prefatory negative nonsense phrase ``political extremist.''

Anyone who simply relied on the corrupt news media, now found it impossible to find out what LaRouche stood for. No substantive act or policy statement of his was ever covered; he simply received the characterization of ``political extremist.'' And corrupt federal prosecutors shut down the two mass publications of the LaRouche movement, through an illegal forced bankruptcy, cutting off an in-depth counterattack.

To the average member of the American public, who is ``other-directed'' enough to care about public opinion, this did the trick. Even those who thought they had supported LaRouche programs against drugs and for economic development, now believed that there was something wrong with him, because the media said so. As LaRouche's attorneys pointed out in the appeal of his conviction, the density of hostile propaganda, particularly in the northern Virginia area where his second trial occurred, created a steamroller of prejudice against him and his co-defendants. And after the railroaded conviction of LaRouche and his six associates in 1988, the blanket of defamation was even more effective, combined as it was with fear that truth could not win out against the secret government apparatus.

Progress toward justice
A lot has changed since LaRouche and his associates were sent off to prison in January of 1989. In particular, the realization has grown that the Reagan-Bush Justice Department was among the most corrupt political institutions around. This perception has spread through the Black community, the labor movement, and a large section of Middle America, that was shocked to the core by the atrocities of the Waco and Ruby Ridge massacres by the FBI. It has been increasingly clear to millions of Americans, that, while LaRouche and his movement were singled out for particularly brutal treatment, we were not alone in being the targets of judicial witchhunts and suppression.

Outside the United States, LaRouche's wife, Helga Zepp LaRouche, led the fight to make an international scandal out of the treatment given her husband by the U.S. Justice system. Thousands of dignitaries signed an appeal to the U.S. President for LaRouche's freedom, thus contributing to the political climate in which LaRouche himself was released on parole January 26, 1994.

Soon after that, LaRouche began a campaign for exoneration of himself and his associates. This campaign has brought forward hundreds of state legislators, and hundreds of other dignitaries, to urge that justice finally be done. One highlight of this campaign was the convening of an Independent Committee of lawyers and international dignitaries, in September 1994, who reviewed the 6 volumes of evidence which the courts had never heard, and concluded that there had been ``gross, even conspiratorial, misuse of prosecutionarial and investigative powers by officials and agents of the U.S. Government.'' The other, even more dramatic, were a set of hearings carried out by a panel of state legislators in September 1995. This panel heard testimony on the LaRouche case, and three others -- the series of infamous Frühmenschen prosecutions of African-American elected officials, the legal witchhunt against the falsely accused Ukrainian autoworker John Demjanjuk, and the case against former Austrian President Kurt Waldheim. In the LaRouche case, it was established that there is a corrupt, permanent bureaucracy in the Justice Department, which was responsive to the Kissinger-Bush order to ``get LaRouche.''

In the late fall of 1995, the National Black Caucus of State Legislators called for Congressional investigations of all the above cases, including that of LaRouche.

Through the course of the exoneration campaign, it has become common knowledge within national political circles, and state legislators, that LaRouche and his associates were subject to political targetting, particularly by the Bush political apparatus. Yet the fear of taking on the ``official line'' set by the mass media, still prevails. It is backed up by the fact that that media reflects the power of the heavily British-influenced Eastern Establishment.

LaRouche vs. Bush
One major break in the campaign to exonerate LaRouche came in the fall of 1996, when the {San Jose Mercury News} published its investigation of the introduction of crack cocaine into the Los Angeles ghetto, as a result of the Contra operation. This expose once again opened up the file of one of the most filthy political operatives in the U.S., Sir George Bush.

As the LaRouche movement had exposed back in the late 1980s, and again in its campaign against Ollie North in 1994, George Bush was the individual in charge of the dirty operations which ran the Contras, and Iran-Contra. He was in charge of an international gun and drug-running network which resulted in the creation of the Afghansi terror network, and the importation of tons of cocaine into the U.S., through Ollie North's ``freedom fighters.'' In this capacity, he came head to head against the LaRouche movement, and did his best to destroy it.

Bush's political machine, even now that he is out of office, is very much alive. The most visible operative is none other than Kenneth Starr, Bush's Solicitor General, and a blatant political operative in the witchhunt against President Clinton. But, never assume that Bush's activities are all out in the open; his business networks, including those of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, are engaged in filthy business all over the world, especially as Bush seeks to install his son, George Jr., as the next President of the United States.

But, Bush's troubles are not over -- not by a long shot. The effects of his crimes are still with us, including the persecution of the LaRouche movement. It is Bush who should be in jail, not LaRouche and his associates.

And here's an article how precisely the government railroaded LaRouche, and why he was prevented from paying back the loans he was convicted for.

2. How The Bankruptcy Shutdown Rigged
The LaRouche Trial

The railroading of Lyndon LaRouche and his associates to prison was set up by an illegal and unprecedented involuntary bankruptcy action--initiated by the same Justice Department prosecutors, and approved by the same federal judge, who later oversaw the frame-up criminal trial of LaRouche in Alexandria, Va.

Well before the bankruptcy action was taken, federal prosecutors realized that they could not carry out a successful prosecution of LaRouche unless they could cut off repayments of loans to persons who were political supporters of the LaRouche movement, and who had lent funds to publishing companies associated with the LaRouche political movement.

The involuntary bankruptcy--which made it illegal to repay these loans!--was the essential precondition for bringing criminal charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud against LaRouche and his associates.

Never before in U.S. history had the government itself been the petitioner in an involuntary bankruptcy case. An involuntary bankruptcy is normally brought by three or more creditors of an insolvent business. In this case, the {only} petitioning creditor was the U.S. government--in the form of the U.S. Department of Justice, through U.S. Attorney Henry Hudson of the Eastern District of Virginia. And the companies were not insolvent.

That wasn't all. Simply filing a petition to put the companies into involuntary bankruptcy, would not have immediately shut them down and stopped payments. In the normal course of events, the companies would have been able to contest the petition in court, over a period on months or longer. So Hudson and the Justice Department had to do something much more drastic--which was something that no normal creditor could do.

They secretly went to the Bankruptcy Court on April 20, 1987, and obtained an order allowing the government to immediately go and shut down the companies. That evening, Hudson deployed FBI agents to surveil the offices of those companies. Early the next morning, U.S. Marshals seized the offices of the three companies and sealed them.

Hudson was able to carry this out as the result of an ex parte (one-sided) hearing, at which a federal bankruptcy judge signed a sealed order directing the appointment of trustees who were supposed to take over the companies. That was a sham: Hudson had no intention of allowing the trustees to operate the businesses. The companies--two publishers and a literature distribution company--were padlocked, never to reopen, and were barred by court order from conducting any business, including paying creditors such as lenders and political supporters. This procedure was then upheld by U.S. District Judge Albert V. Bryan, Jr.--who was later to preside over the criminal prosecution of LaRouche.

Two and one-half years later, the Bankruptcy Court dismissed the government's petitions, ruling that Hudson and his office had acted in ``objective bad faith'' and had conducted a ``constructive fraud on the court.'' But by that time, LaRouche and his co-defendants were already in federal prison.

How did it work? On day of the signing of the secret order directing the seizure and padlocking of the companies, the FBI sent out lists of LaRouche supporters and lenders to all FBI field offices, directing them to contact the lenders to recruit witnesses for the planned criminal case. The FBI teletype acknowledged that many of the lenders ``are still supporters of the organization and may not consider themselves a victim.'' The Justice Department/FBI strategy was to {turn them into victims,} by telling lenders that they would never get their money back--because the companies were bankrupt.

Thus, having created a pool of ``victims,'' the prosecutors selected a handful to be presented at the LaRouche show-trial. To top it off, Judge Bryan--the same judge who had approved the illegal seizure and shutdown of the companies--issued an order {prohibiting} the defense from telling the jury that they had been prevented {by the government} from paying back the loans.

With such an elaborate rigging of the trial, convictions were virtually a foregone conclusion.
