The deforestation of the Amazon region is a major crime against nature and the indigenous people! Peru needs to share the blame too.

These isolated tribes will soon be wiped out by displacement or disease brought on by the intruders.

I almost think even pics of these totally isolated people shouldn't be taken but...you've gotta love the pic of the tribe aiming their bows at the plane

I agree that deforestation is a bad thing, It is said to be a contributing factor to global warming by decreasing oxygen production, and it also means the native populations world is coming to an end. A bit of a twist to that situation is I have heard criticism directed toward Brasil and the common response is "we are doing the same thing the United States did when it expanded west".
