Why are so many expats attracted to Latin America?

Historic delights of the UK, Australia and the US have been the main expat magnets around the world but over the last decade or so we have seen a significant change in this trend. There appear to be a number of reasons why Latin America is becoming one of the hotspots for expats and when you take a step back and look at the situation, there are many reasons why this is so.
